The seated rotation changes the problem: the top planes of the shoulders and head are brightly lit, while deep shadows form under the pectorals and in the armpit. Notice how the shadow boundary follows the costal arch and the underside of the deltoid — the light direction determines where these edges sit, not the anatomy alone.
